Strengthening democratic awareness
A stable democratic foundation is created through an understanding of democratic processes, rights and obligations. Our aim is to promote awareness of democracy in Georgia through legal education, awareness-raising and practical initiatives.

In the long term, our work contributes to the development of an active, informed citizenry that is prepared to take responsibility for democratic processes.
Organization of workshops and seminars on fundamental rights, voting rights, separation of powers and constitutional principles – especially for pupils, students and young professionals
Cooperation programs with universities to anchor democratic values in legal education
Development of teaching materials and digital educational formats (e.g. e-learning, podcasts)
Events on current political and legal topics with experts from both countries
Promotion of moot courts, student parliaments and discussion forums on legal ethics
Promoting the common good
A just society is created by actively promoting the common good. The Lawyers’ Association is committed to ensuring that legal structures are further developed in the interests of all citizens.

Law is an expression of cultural identity. We promote intercultural exchange between Germany and Georgia in order to strengthen mutual understanding and make cultural diversity visible as a resource.

The reduction of cultural misunderstandings and the emergence of a respectful, open dialog about values, traditions and shared visions for the future.

Georgia is on a challenging path of political and legal reform. We would like to constructively support this process with German experience and knowledge of the rule of law.
